German developed gas maker Linde augments sales by 3 pct
On Friday, Feb. 5, the German developed gas maker, Linde, declared that sales of the American-Anglo-German multinational chemical firm rose by three percent annually, reaching USD7.3 billion during the October-December period of last year, with full-year statistics dropping a little.
Linde's chief executive officer (CEO) Steve Angel stated: "the company responded exceptionally well in a challenging year dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic."
The firm said that the whole year sales declined three percent annually, reaching USD27.2 billion in overall. Nevertheless, active profit expanded by ten percent and amounted to USD3.3 billion.
With double-digit expansion rates in proceeds in the Asia Pacific region, Linde's most robust expansion market, overall active profit in the October-December period climbed considerably by 20 percent hitting about USD1 billion.
